Formed in 1989 by Mike Kavali, Waterford Properties launched its trajectory to success by undertaking consulting services and property development. Typically project management of major projects for developers, builders, owner-occupiers and State Government, its sought-after consulting services were the company's major activities between 1990 and 2000.

  • Director Mike Kavali has 35 years experience in Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Development Management. Previously, Mike worked in senior positions for top construction and development firms including Lend Lease, Leightons and Multiplex.

    Jonathan Kavali has been a Waterford Properties Development Manager for 6 years, working on its three most recent projects: Riyala Apartments, 40 Park Avenue and Scott Street. He holds a degree in International Business and Marketing, a Post Graduate in Property Economics and has a Principal Real Estate Agents Licence.

    Matthew Kavali joined Waterford Properties as Finance Director in July 2008. Matthew is responsible for structured project finance and corporate strategy. Matthew has over 12 years experience in financial markets and investment management with major offshore and domestic companies.

    Matthew has spent the last 7 years with Suncorp, holding senior dealing positions with Suncorp Group Treasury. More recently Matthew worked for Suncorp Investment Management Ltd as Portfolio Manager, Asset Allocation where he was responsible for trading and portfolio construction across all major asset classes. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business (International Business) and a Master of Applied Finance and Investment.
